Wild Seaweed

$395.00
SOLD

‘She made me realize just how precious wild places are’ - Craig Foster, My Octopus Teacher.

51cm x 41cm (20” x 16”)
Acrylic on Stretched Canvas
Naomi Crowther 2023

Artist’s Statement: I’m a bit obsessed with seaweed. The way it sways, the creatures it protects, what it does in the way of natural carbon storage, without having to tell the world. After a low pressure system the seaweed thrown up on the tideline reveals treasures for us to discover, such as shark eggs (mermaid purses) a myriad of shells and the occasional weedy sea dragon.

Note; room images may not be exactly to scale, please check measurements prior to purchase.
