Artist’s Statement: There so many cues in life telling us to focus, to be present, declutter, be on-pointe, find clarity. Often the best way forward is to defocus for a while, and see things differently. I love gazing at the sparkling water, observing the light play of the spots, even if it makes me squint. They’s a joy to being ‘out of focus’.
